Why hello there!

Why hello there! I doubt anyone would check in here to see any updates and whatsoever. But if you do, thank you. It’s been 5 years since the last post. I’ve never thought I was able to get back in here to be honest. To the team who has finished the project, congratulations! I’ve never felt so relieved and nostalgic to see it finish. Looking back here, its nice to look back the mess we’ve done. Yes I still do have the files, it’s stuck in my google drive. However, I would like to take this chance to formally apologize for the obvious lack of progress and the complete absence. As a highschooler leading the project when it started, I am amazed and humbled by the opportunity given to lead a fan translation group. Admittedly, I failed and messed up. I thought I assembled a nice team to get things done and slowly work on things. I suppose it was my mistake to be completely reliable on strangers who I am not too sure if I could hold account to their workload, but then again why so harsh to myself? It was a non-funded fan translation project after all. Slowly and eventually, I guess I caved into pressure after hearing many rumours and shit talk going on in 4chan… I guess I slowly lost motivation in doing it. After all, i have better things to do. Oh well, at least I ahve something to look back at. Weird memories that I could talk about. Well this is derpigreg here. It was fun and thank you for believing in us somewhat. Go enjoy the VN, I love it a lot. Personally, I have finished it on my own and you can’t convince me otherwise that Celia is best girl. She just simply is.

If anyone wants to know what I’m doing these days, I am actually pretty active… As a vtuber. If you’re gonna find me, good luck! I doubt it’s gonna be hard to be honest.

TL Progress Menu Added

Hello everyone! Hentai Meido here. First and foremost, Happy New Year to all of you!
 
Now that we’ve settled that, we’ve got a minor site update. We’ve added a TL Progress menu. We’ll be updating this as much as we can. Regardless, we can at least show you our progress on the common route at the moment. It’s all there on the TL Progress tab. And the post below this one. lol.

Updated Recruitment list

Hello guys! We’ve upped the people we’re looking for. Aside from Translators and Translation Checkers (See the previous recruitment post), we’re now adding Karaoke guys, Image Editors, Patchers, Hackers, and Testers.

 
Here’s a rough description of all the roles:
 
 
Karaoke guys are the ones who are in charge with the VN’s OP and EDs. They’re in charge of adding (yep, you guessed it) Karaoke in the videos.
 
 
Image Editors edit images to turn words that are in Kana into English. For instance, they change the image where it shows a sign that’s in Kana and turn it to English.
 
 
Patchers gathers everything the group has worked on and puts it in a patch that you can use to update the VN and, ultimately, play it in English.
 
 
Hackers hack into the game to extract the scripts and the images for all to edit and TL and such.
 
 
Testers test the game with the patches. Also in our group, they would be checking the scripts to see if there are missing lines, or other tasks to make them feel that they are at least involved and not left out.

Looking for Translators and TLC

 
Hey there, random citizen! Do you have free time? Do you want to gauge your Japanese skills somehow, but aren’t that expressive when it comes to English? Wanna help thousands of people access a good VN? Then you’re in luck (more like, we’re in luck lol). We’re looking for Translators and Translation Checkers (TLC)!

 

Whoa, hold up. What’s the difference between the two?

 

Good question. Translators, in general are people who translate Japanese lines and turn them to English. They’re the blood in our group’s veins. Without them, there wouldn’t be any team to begin with. As you can see, translators are uncommon. They’re usually busy and have other stuff to translate or take care of. We’re just hoping to uncover the few diamonds in the rough who happen to read this. Or maybe they’re looking for a team doing the VN we’re currently focused on. Either way, it would really boost the team’s overall speed.

 

Translation checkers, on the other hand, are people who have more grasp when it comes to both general Japanese AND English grammar and sentence structure and are more dedicated towards the group they belong. They’re a lot rarer than translators. They’re also responsible for polishing finished translations, and with that, help translators in honing their craft.
